With over 25 years of graphic design experience, I've been fortunate to work for leading brands such as Vodafone, Eurostar, French Connection, Formula 1, O2 and Primark.

In 2010, my life changed significantly with the birth of my son and my diagnosis of Diamond Blackfan Anaemia Syndrome, a rare type of bone marrow failure. I was forced to rethink my work/life balance.

Adelie Creative was born out of a desire to find a work/life balance that fitted around my health and more importantly, my family.

The pandemic's impact on my freelance work nudged me towards a new avenue – social media design. Sharing my expertise in local business Facebook groups, I rediscovered my passion for creativity and felt drawn to social media.

I embraced the social media shift, retraining as a social media manager. Now I blend my extensive design expertise with a nuanced understanding of various social platforms.

Managing my health, family life and a business has underscored the importance of planning ahead to stay organised. It has also highlighted the need to prioritise my digital wellbeing to prevent social media overwhelm.

My approach is all about working smarter, not harder. Now, I’m passionate about helping small businesses craft effective social media strategies that enhance their online presence while also safeguarding their digital wellbeing.Best bit?
